A very short tip that can save you a lot of time:
If you use the Preview Window in PhotoView 360 and you find out it takes too long to finish rendering, you can “brush” with your mouse over areas of interest and they will get priority over the rest.
Apparently this new functionality was added in SolidWorks 2011 SP 4.0.

Nice time saving feature! Not often we see a new capability like this introduced in a late service pack.
I’ve seen this in the new iRay too, and why not, it’s a great concept. I think lots of renders will get something like this now.
