Circular Chamfer on Non-Circular Edges

When you need to make a circular chamfer around the edges of a non-circular part, such as a nut, you might start with a profile sketch for the chamfer and use a Revolved Cut to create the feature.

Now here’s an even easier way utilizing a standard Cut-Extrude with a Through All end condition and add a Draft angle.

Create a circle sketch on the face

5 extruded cut

Use a standard Cut-Extrude feature, flipping the direction and adding draft.

Identical chamfer compared to the revolved cut
