OneCAD helps companies using SolidWorks with their overflow CAD and engineering design work
August 5th, 2011 – Markham, Ontario – It may now seem ironic that OneCAD Solutions Ltd. actually started in 2004 as a competitive CAD reseller to Javelin Technologies, Canada’s leading SolidWorks reseller. But since 2007 when they sold their successful CAD division to concentrate on mechanical contract design services, OneCAD’s growth has been dominated by the needs of Ontario’s SolidWorks customers and Javelin Technologies has been right there supporting OneCAD for their engineering technology.
OneCAD Solutions is a professional engineering company providing mechanical engineering contract design services, 3D CAD modeling, detail drafting and reverse engineering. They deliver their services with all of the major mid-range CAD software, but SolidWorks is now by far the mainstay of OneCAD’s customer base. OneCAD’s main service is helping clients with their overflow CAD and engineering design work, but OneCAD also takes on CAD video production, FEA & CFD analysis, original product design and professional engineering services.
OneCAD has 20 technical staff and they are equipped with 12 SolidWorks CAD licenses along with DriveWorks and E3.Wireworks. They also offer FEA & CFD analysis services with SolidWorks Simulation Professional and SolidWorks Flow Simulation CFD software.
As Neil Thomas, OneCAD’s President explains, “We’ve rebounded from the recession to be larger than before.
