Javelin Applications Engineer Alin Vargatu becomes a Certified SolidWorks Expert

One of only three people in the world to achieve Expert Certification!

OAKVILLE, ON., Feb. 19, 2010 – On February 3rd, 2010 at SolidWorks World, the SolidWorks Certification Team announced to the community a new level of achievement for SolidWorks professionals called the Certified SolidWorks Expert (CSWE).

Upon hearing the news, Alin was extremely excited to face this new challenge.  As soon as the session was over, he checked to see if he qualified to take the exam, and being a Certified SolidWorks Professional (CSWP) with three additional advanced certifications (CSWP-Surfacing, CSWP-Weldments, CSWP-Sheet Metal), he was.  Once the exam was open to the public, Alin rose to the challenge and is now one of the only three Certified SolidWorks Professionals in the world who have reached this level of achievement.

How does Alin feel about the difficult exam?

Some people play tennis for pleasure, some play at Wimbledon.  For us, SolidWorks users, the CSWE certification is Wimbledon and the CSWP is the qualification tournament.  As part of the Javelin team, I constantly strive for perfection and excellence.  The CSWP and CSWE certifications are simple ways of measuring oneself against a high standard issued by SolidWorks.

Dassault Systèmes SolidWorks Corp. started the CSWP program ten years ago in 2000. There are currently  just a little over ten thousand CSWP’s in the world – 10,088.  Javelin Technologies is privileged to have on its staff nine CSWP’s.

All customers with current subscription service are encouraged to visit the customer portal to see what offers are available to them for free exams.  The current offer will cover the cost of the CSWP, and the advanced exams if your license qualifies.
