Free Training (CTMA)

The Canadian Tooling & Machining Association has received an overwhelming number of requests for training support in Phase 1 of the CTMA-MEDT Software Training Fund Program which indicates the obvious need for this kind of funding support for the MTDM industry.
We were pleasantly surprised to receive over 60 proposals from companies in the industry that have been deemed eligible and will receive funding under this program; however, the total of these requests far exceeded the level of funding that is currently available to us.
Therefore, due to the overwhelming response to this initiative no new applications are being accepted as of Monday, September 22, 2008.
The future of Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the program is under review and updates regarding alternative training initiatives will be announced as information becomes available. Please check our website at www.ctma.com periodically for future updates.
