Javelin provides comprehensive instructor led training courses for the EdgeCAM suite of machining/manufacturing products, delivered by experienced EdgeCAM instructors. All the courses are hands-on courses and will allow you to learn EdgeCAM by carrying out different tasks in a process based training approach. The following courses are available:
EdgeCAM 2D Milling Instructor Led Training Course
The goal of this course is to teach you how to use the EdgeCAM manufacturing software in a production environment. During this 3 day course you will learn how to use EdgeCAM Solid Machinist, Operations Interface, Toolstore creation, Simulator, Tool Documentation, and Posting of NC Code. 2D milling strategies on wireframe and solid models will be covered.
EdgeCAM 3D Milling Instructor Led Training Course
Building on EdgeCAM's 2.5-Axis milling techniques, this course provides techniques and working methodology to machine components on 4th and 5th axis machine tools. Suited for advanced 3D machining for mold/die/aerospace type machining, the course includes roughing, re-machining and 3D finishing. Pencil trace and constant cusp toolpaths are also covered. 3D Solid models will be used for the course.
EdgeCAM 2-Axis Lathe Instructor Led Training Course
This course is tailor made for users of multi-axis turning centers. It is specifically designed to enhance the knowledge acquired within the 2-Axis turning environment. Solid models and wireframe models will be used for this turning course.
EdgeCAM Multi-Axis Lathe Instructor Led Training Course
This course is aimed at users of Multi-Axis turning centers. In addition to developing turning skills, you will be shown how to operate standard EdgeCAM milling cycles within the turn environment.
