Did you know that if you are unemployed and looking to upgrade your skills, Employment Ontario will fund your SolidWorks training if you meet their eligibility requirements. This program is also known as HRSDC (Human Resources and Social Development Canada).
The job market is a fierce and competitive arena where experience and skills are a distinct advantage over the competition. Learning how to design in 3D with SolidWorks software will give you the edge required to compete and win a placement in the top ranked businesses. If you have qualifications or experience as a Mechanical/Industrial Engineer or Technician, then this program is for you!
The program duration is 72 hours over 3 weeks.

Q: Are there any course prerequisites?
A: The pre-requisites for the SolidWorks Core Skills Program are Mechanical or Industrial design experience and experience with the Windows™ operating system.
Q: How are students evaluated during the program?
A: Students are assigned exercises after the instructor completes each lesson. The instructor makes sure that students finish the assigned exercises.
Q: If requested, is assistance available for students needing additional learning support?
A: The instructor is always available to answer any questions the student might have during the program.
Q: What percentage of students successfully complete the SolidWorks Core Skills program?
A: All the students who have signed up for the SolidWorks Core Skills Program have been able to complete the program without a problem.

A: Unfortunately, we cannot disclose this information to the public. Ways to find companies who are currently looking to hire individuals with SolidWorks expertise can be done via an online employment search engine.
An advanced program is also available from Javelin, where you can obtain SolidWorks skills for industry specific tasks. We can plan out a learning path for you to learn the skills you require for a specific industry once the core program has been completed or if you have sufficient SolidWorks knowledge.
