The LIVE Web Courses have been designed to meet customer requests, and answer frequently asked questions received by our technical services team.

Q: What do I need in order to take the training?A: You will need a computer connected to the internet and a phone. Q: Is the training a recorded video? A: No, it is a live session with an instructor delivering the training. Q: What is the duration of each course? A: 6 hours, 2 hours per day over a 3 day period Q: What happens if I miss one of the training sessions A: Please call our Training Department (1-905-815-1906 x3) in the event you cannot attend a session. Q: What type of internet connection do I need for the training? A: Cable/Broadband or higher is required, a dial-up connection is not recommended for this training. Q: Do I need to install software in order to take the training? A: A simple plug-in for your web browser is required, this can be downloaded and installed prior to taking the training. Q: What version of SolidWorks is the training delivered in? A: SolidWorks 2008/2009. Q: Will I have access to the parts/assemblies/drawings featured in the training course? A: Unfortunately, no training files will be available for download.Q: Do I need to have SolidWorks installed/running in order to take the course? A: SolidWorks does not need to be installed on your system to take the course. Q: Will I have a chance to ask questions? A: Yes, there is a 30 minute Q & A session at the end of each training session. Q: Can I show my project during the Q & A session? A: The Q & A session will cover 'how to' questions without using customer files. Q: Do I receive a certificate for completing the training? A: A certificate is not issued for completing the web training course. However, an exception can be made if you require one. Q: Will I receive a training manual or reference material? A: No, this is a live web session and a manual is not supplied.Q: Will the training be recorded so I can view it later? A: No, the course will not be recorded or available to view at a later time.
