ILS Platform Series
Process Larger Objects
The ILS series, is the largest Universal Laser platform, ideal for businesses that need high productivity or process large objects.
The ILS laser platforms feature work areas up to twice as large as the largest PLS or VLS platforms, and a patented, true Class 4 material pass-through mode is available for safe processing of objects of unlimited length.
Factory-ready features like the automation interface allow a properly configured ILS laser platform to serve as either a standalone production solution or to be an integrated component of an automated assembly line.

ILS Platform Series Features and Accessories
Unique System Features
The patented, metal core, air-cooled, free-space slab, CO2 lasers produce excellent beam quality with even power distribution, good near-field and far-field characteristics and long life. Dual lasers dramatically increase speed, edge quality and power.
Dual Laser Configuration
Dual Laser Configuration optically combines two ULS laser sources into a single beam for additional power and flexibility.
Unique to Universal Laser Systems, Rapid Reconfiguration allows the modular platforms to be field-reconfigured with a variety of laser sources, optics & accessories, in seconds and without tools. Easily exchange laser wattage to change peak power and increase speed and throughput.
SuperSpeed and Dual Laser Configuration work together splitting the beams from two same wattage lasers to produce two lines of a raster image simultaneously, significantly speeding up marking and engraving productivity. For vector cutting, the laser beams can be combined to take advantage of higher power.
Class 4 Material Pass-Through
When used in conjunction with the patented Class 4 conversion module and a laser-safe work environment, the ILS platforms can be configured to allow processing of items of unlimited length and in full compliance with Class 4 safety regulations.
Universal Control Panel (UCP)
The exclusive integrated materials database in the UCP print driver automatically determines the optimum processing settings for your target material. Just select the material type, enter the material thickness and press “start.”
High Power Density Focusing Optics™
High Power Density Focusing Optics (HPDFO™) allow the laser beam to be focused to a much smaller spot, making it possible to engrave smaller text and produce sharper images at tighter tolerances.
1-Touch Laser Photo™
1-Touch Laser Photo is our popular software package that makes it quick and easy to reproduce stunning photographic images on nearly any material.
Why you should choose a Universal Laser System
Three advantages of the ILS Platform Series
1. Print Anything
Virtually any design can be printed from your design software to the laser system software. Including Adobe® Illustrator®, Adobe® Photoshop®, AutoCAD®, SOLIDWORKS®, DraftSight® and many others. Additionally, .DXF and .PDF file formats can be imported into the Universal Control Panel (UPC).
2. One Step Process
Cut, engrave and mark in one step. Additionally, you can engrave or mark a high-resolution image on material. The laser systems can perform many different types of operations in a single step by seamlessly changing power, speed and other parameters with one click.
3. Just about any material
An endless number of materials are compatible with a Universal laser system, including plastics, metals, silicone rubbers, fabrics, composites, laminating adhesives and other advanced materials to name a few.
