Les drones prennent leur envol grâce aux imprimantes 3D de Stratasys [VIDEO].

Article by Rod Mackay updated October 1, 2013

This case study video from Stratasys features UAV Solutions, a small US business that designs Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) using SolidWorks software and a Stratasys Fortus 400mc Production System to create components and support equipment for their flying vehicles.

UAV Solutions print their components using ULTEM™ 9085, which is a lightweight and extremely durable material available with Fortus production systems. UAV Solutions is now able to manufacture component shapes and forms that were not possible with traditional manufacturing processes. With the ability to quickly print components the avionic structures can be easily changed overnight after testing has been carried out or to meet customer requirements.
