3D Printer Demos to look out for

The 3D Printing Centre has an array of different 3D Printers to discover including Maker-bots and Stratasys FDM and PolyJet machines. One machine you really want to check out is their Objet500 Connex3 which is a full colour multi-material machine. The Printing House were the first service provider in Canada to offer full colour multi-material 3D print services.

The Connex3 uses PolyJet technology to combine vivid colour and multiple materials to empower designers to simulate the precise look, feel and function of finished products. With a wide range of advanced material options, from strong Digital ABS to flexible rubber and dozens of composites, you can bring your designs to life as realistic models earlier in the design process. Check out some of the cool models you can create with a multi-material colour 3D printer:

Here is a demonstration of the Connex3 machine in action and how designers can use it in their development process:

It’s not too late to register for the event through Facebook, and if you can’t make it and have questions about 3D printing then please contact us
