Erreur du module complémentaire SOLIDWORKS 2022 Electrical 3D – Impossible d'obtenir une licence

Typically, the answer for what to do when one receives a message stating “Could not obtain a license for SOLIDWORKS” may simply be to activate or reactivate your SOLIDWORKS license. However, if you are experiencing a SOLIDWORKS 2022 Electrical 3D add-in error, specifically, that comes down to a different issue, and a much different solution.

SOLIDWORKS 2022 Electrical 3D add-in error “Elec3dcore”

“elec3dcore” is not supported

When viewing the lmgrd logs found in the SOLIDWORKS SolidNetWork License Manager, we see that the add-in looks for the feature name “elec3dcore.” The problem with this is that “elec3dcore” is not supported.

Il convient de préciser que ce problème ne semble se poser que lors de l'utilisation d'une licence réseau, et non d'une licence autonome. Alors, comment gérer ce problème ? L'une des solutions consiste à mettre à niveau vers SOLIDWORKS 2023, car ce problème, à ce jour, n'est connu que pour SOLIDWORKS 2022, mais que faire si vous souhaitez continuer à utiliser le complément Electrical 3D de SOLIDWORKS 2022 ?

Remove “209” from the end of the License Order

Error workaround

The workaround provided by SOLIDWORKS is to navigate to your registry, and remove “209” from the end of the “License Order” in the following registry entry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SolidWorks\Licensesxxx\Settings]

Une fois cette modification apportée au registre, notre complément SOLIDWORKS Electrical 3D fonctionne correctement. Veuillez noter qu'il faut s'attendre à un temps de chargement lent au début après cette modification.
