On Thursday, November 22nd, Javelin and TechAlliance provided a 3D Printing Event for technological startup companies in London Ontario, and the surrounding area.

Over 20 attendees from different technological backgrounds had the opportunity to:

  • Learn about the 3D printing evolution.
  • Realize the possibilities and benefits provided by 3D printers.
  • Get an introduction to the Objet technology, printers and parts.
  • Gain an understanding of the applications and post processes currently available for 3D printed parts.

We received three CAD files for 3D printing prior to the event. The parts were printed at our 3D Printing Lab in Oakville, and then delivered to attendees during the event, giving them the ideal opportunity to evaluate the printed parts and provide us with feedback. Take a look at photos from the event below – including a photo of the three cool parts we printed:

TechAlliance is a member of the Ontario Centres for Excellence, they provide advisory services, resources, and programs to the tech community in London and Southwestern Ontario. Javelin is Canada’s leading provider of Objet 3D Printers and SolidWorks mechanical and electrical 3D CAD software.
