You may not realize but Javelin is not only a Stratasys Certified Partner but we are also a SOLIDWORKS authorized reseller. Which is why during the first week of February we saddled up and headed to Dallas, Texas, for the SOLIDWORKS World 2016 annual conference; to find out the latest technology advancements in 3D design and 3D printing. Of course where 3D printing is present we found Stratasys at the forefront of proceedings:

Stratasys launches their Creative Colours Software

During the conference we caught an interesting presentation from Stratasys North America President John Gould. He explained how Stratasys are expanding the adoption of 3D printing and driving innovation by simplifying the design-to-3D print workflow. He introduced the new Stratasys Creative Colours Software, powered by the Adobe 3D Color Print Engine, which provides greater ease of use (including automated STL repair, WYSIWYG colour preview and direct connection to Objet Connex3 3D printers); plus vibrant gradient colours, textures, and patterns. That means for the first time you can easily 3D print models which combine multiple gradient colours and multiple material properties!

We also visited the Stratasys booth in the SOLIDWORKS partner pavilion to see some of the cool 3D printed models they had on display including new Adobe colour models. Check out some of the models we found in the gallery below:
