The European International Submarine Races are well underway and the UVic Submarine Racing Club is already making big waves. They were the 2nd out of 12 teams to arrive on site and were the 1st team to successfully complete underwater wet testing of all systems and safety inspections. Their hard work is already starting to pay off!

The UVSRC has been working on their craft for less than 10 months and they’ve already pulled ahead of more experienced teams that have been competing for more than 10 years!

The team has been off to a fantastic start, currently placed within the top 3 teams, based on their technical report, dry and wet inspections, and presentation to the judges. Their success puts them in the running for receiving the overall eISR trophy!
