New Fortus 380mc and 450mc Production Systems [VIDEO]

Stratasys have recently introduced two new 3D Production systems, the Fortus 380mc and the Fortus 450mc. These new systems will allow you to build, accurate, repeatable parts faster than ever before. Fortus systems are designed specifically for manufacturing applications, such as producing jigs, fixtures, factory tooling and end-use parts, as well as functional prototypes to withstand stringent testing. FDM Technology

Fortus systems use Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM®) technology, which builds parts layer by layer from a CAD model using a variety of production-grade thermoplastics. With FDM technology, the traditional fabrication process is substantially simplified. Toolmaking becomes less expensive and time consuming. Intricate designs that are impossible to make with conventional tooling are now possible. As a result, manufacturers realize immediate improvements in productivity, efficiency and quality.
