SOLIDWORKS CAM Sorting Operations is a simple process, click Sort in the CAM command manager or right-mouse on Mill Part Setup1 and select Sort Operations.
In the Sort tab we may reorder the operations by clicking and dragging in the Operation Type column and select by Tool in the Then by column.
Now we can see our operations are sorted in the order defined and by tool. This will minimize the cycle time by reducing the amount of tool changes.
Next, we will generate toolpaths. SOLIDWORKS CAM Standard Milling Setup 7/9: Generating Toolpaths
