Within the Design Library in the Task Pane, there is database of SolidWorks files provided by suppliers and other users. This can be helpful to browse for suppliers and insert their stock parts into your models. Or you can become a supplier yourself for millions of users to use your parts in their assemblies.
- The User Library gives you access to models generated by users like you. This can save you time if you just need to throw in something like a knob into your model for representation.
- The Supplier Content will give you a list of companies that provide stock parts. You can also sort by category of parts.
- On the 3D ContentCentral homepage (click “Home” in the top left), you can also choose to see suppliers by region to find the closest suppliers.
- As you can see, there aren’t too many suppliers listed for Canada yet. Sign up as an individual or a supplier to increase the content for everyone’s advantage!
