The SOLIDWORKS PCB 3D Navigation tools work slightly differently to the view tools and techniques you are likely more familiar with in SOLIDWORKS.
Navigation of PCB in 3D View
With SOLIDWORKS PCB 3D Navigation you may receive the error “Action not available in 3D view”. This generally means you are just using the incorrect commands to navigate in the 3D view.
SOLIDWORKS PCB 3D Navigation Hot Keys
The following table provides the hot key combinations for 3D navigation in SOLIDWORKS PCB without the use of a 3D mouse:

| Zoom In/Out | Ctrl + Right Mouse Click (Wheel) |
| Pan Left/Right | Shift + Wheel |
| Pan Up/Down | Wheel |
| Free Rotate | Shift + Right Mouse Button |
| Right Model | 0 (zero) |
| Rotate 90deg | 9 |
| Flip Board | V + B |
| Fit Document | V + D |
| Fit Board | V + F |
