How to add Balloons manually in SOLIDWORKS Inspection 2017

In SOLIDWORKS Inspection 2017, balloons can be added manually.
In the SOLIDWORKS Inspection add-in, click the button New Inspection Project on the CommandManager.

In the Characteristic Info section, set extraction to manual. The Sort value will automatically change to User Defined and become greyed out.

Proceed to add characteristics as usual.
Click the Balloon Document button and adjust ballooning settings if needed.

Balloons are created in the order characteristics were added.
