How to split Splitting Projects into Stages with SOLIDWORKS Manage

If there is a period of time where no work is being done on a SOLIDWORKS Manage Project, the Project can be Split, so that time is not included in the percentage completion of Project.

To do this, after creating or editing a Project, select the Planning tab.

Right-click a Stage and select Split Stage.

Click on Add to create the Split

Define the Position of the Split, relative to the Project timeline, and the Length, in number of days, assigned to the Split. An example can be toggled, to help under how the Position and Time are evaluated. A calculator is available from a pull-down, to calculate both the Position and Length
