Why am I unable to obtain a license for SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard?

Complimentary seats of SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard are included with SOLIDWORKS Professional or Premium Network Licenses that are on active SOLIDWORKS Subscription Service. In order to use them, you need to reactivate your SOLIDWORKS network license every time SOLIDWORKS subscription is renewed.

SOLIDWORKS licenses are permanent and do not require license reactivation until the License Manager is upgraded or moved to a different location.  SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard and SOLIDWORKS CAM Standard are not permanent licenses; they are tied to SOLIDWORKS subscription.  When SOLIDWORKS subscription is renewed, SOLIDWORKS network license needs to be reactivated to apply new expiration date to SOLIDWORKS Visualize Standard and SOLIDWORKS CAM Standard.

To reactivate SOLIDWORKS network license, launch SolidNetWork License Manager Server on the server/computer that is hosting SOLIDWORKS network license and follow the steps shown in the image below.

This process requires an active internet connection and should take only a few minutes to complete. You can also use the email activation method if internet connection is not available.
