Attempting to simulate a chain or conveyor system within SOLIDWORKS has traditionally been a challenge. As a precursor to working with the Chain Component Pattern in SOLIDWORKS, you may want to apply some advanced mechanical mates to the path and components of your conveyor to ensure that you have control over all of the components in your conveyor system during a dynamic drag operation. In this way you can interact completely with your conveyor design, once the Chain Component Pattern has been used to populate the design.
