SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2018 Terminal Strips and Multilevel Terminals

Article by Delvin Masilamani created/updated February 28, 2018

As SOLIDWORKS Electrical has evolved over time it managed to make software improvements to handle demands from both schematic design and electrical 3D. SOLIDWORKS Electrical Terminal Strips have improvements made to handle labeling of multilevel terminals.

Two options for level marks

The SOLIDWORKS Electrical Terminal Strips Manager can now add accessory components, add manufacturing parts/circuits at the component properties and reorder terminals through origin/destination sort criteria.

Terminal Level Definition in 2018

Where to Find Terminal Level Definition:

SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic > Project (Project must be open) > Terminal Editor (terminal strip and few terminals must exist) > Right-click on a terminal > Select Define Level
