How to enable BOM Model Highlighting in SOLIDWORKS Composer

When we publish images from SOLIDWORKS Composer specifically Technical Illustrations, it allows us to save .SVG type images and upon opening the images in a web browser we can easily identify corresponding parts in the model by hovering the mouse pointer over line items in the BOM.
However, when we are working with an assembly in the viewport and create a BOM list, hovering over the BOM does not highlight parts in the viewport? This makes it difficult to identify which parts have an item number generated.
This is because the Model Highlighting property is disabled by default, and needs to be enabled as shown below:
Enabling the BOM Model Highlighting property:
- Place the BOM in the viewport through Workshops > BOM Pane > Generate BOM ID’s > Show/Hide BOM Table.
- Now click on the BOM > this will show the BOM properties in properties pane.
- In properties pane > Enable the ‘Model Highlighting’ property from the General section.

Result : Model Highlighting from BOM list
