Now in SOLIDWORKS Electrical 2021, we can simultaneously create multiple drawings from a book, a folder, or a drawing.

We can select both the quantity and the type of drawings we would like to create. Earlier this process was time-consuming as we had to create one drawing at a time or we would create one and then copy-paste to get multiple drawings as required.

To create multiple drawings follow the steps below:

  1. Open the project
  2. On the Document manager > Right-click on either Book/folder
  3. Click on New > Multiple > Cover Page / Scheme / Wiring line-diagram / Mixed scheme
  4. Next the “multiple insertion” dialog box pops-up. Now specify the number of drawings you would like to add
  5. Boom!!! multiple drawings are added to the document manager
