How to enable the Windows Indexing Search

For turning on the Microsoft Windows Indexing Service  Feature:

  • Start typing “uninstall” in Windows Search and select Programs & Features

Unintsall

  • Select Turn on Windows features… 

Windows Features

 

  • Enable Windows Indexing Service 

Indexing service

  • Please refer to the article SolidWorks knowledgebase article S-054407 for instructions on enabling Indexing Search for Windows & Windows Server 2008 64 bit. The knowledgebase is available to all subscription customers at www.solidworks.com
