New in SOLIDWORKS Simulation 2015 – Run Specified Studies

SOLIDWORKS Simulation 2015 has introduced a new option to Run Specified Studies within a file so you have an option to choose what you want to run.  Previously you could run the active study or all studies in the model.  This will allow you to setup additional studies as you need and select which ones to run, so you don’t have to rerun all your previous studies with Run All.

You have the option to Mesh Only on specific studies to review the mesh for each study prior to running.

When selecting to Run, if the Mesh Status indicates “Ok”, the study already has the mesh data available and will only run the Solver and not remesh the study.  If the mesh is “Out of date”, then the study will be treated as Mesh and Run.
