SOLIDWORKS 2016 PropertyManager Expandable Input Boxes

Article by Scott Durksen, CSWE updated January 12, 2016

The new SOLIDWORKS 2016 User Interface overhaul also allowed developers to include small changes that can make a world of a difference.  Case in point, the ability to expand the PropertyManager input boxes.  Previously if you had more than a few selections, you may have been scrolling up and down in the list to find something.

Past releases required scrolling up and down to see all selections

Now the new interface includes a small dot at the bottom of each box to resize.  You can also right-click in the box itself and choose “Autosize” to automatically adjust to the amount of selections.
