SOLIDWORKS 2017 Extrude Boss/Cut Feature Enhanced

Prior to SOLIDWORKS 2017, extruding a boss or a cut feature from/to a face required the sketch to project within the boundary of the selected face or surface; otherwise, the extrude feature would fail as shown in the example below:

The SOLIDWORKS 2017 Extrude feature now allows a sketch to be extruded from a planar surface/face, to a planar surface/face regardless of the surface/face size.

It is no longer a requirement that the sketch projects to the selected face/surface.
