A new option in SOLIDWORKS 2018 allows you to choose if a block added to a drawing view will be broken or not when a Break View is added.  Previous versions would not break the block so only the model would be shortened but the full block was still shown.

Now SOLIDWORKS 2018 has an option in the Break View PropertyManager to select if you want the block to be broken along with the drawing view.  With the option deselected it behaves like previous versions.
