How to generate a Custom SOLIDWORKS Coordinate System

You can create a custom SOLIDWORKS coordinate system in a model that can be used for reference in Measure, Mass Properties or exporting to a neutral file (Parasolid®, STEP, IGES, etc).  This can also be used for assembly mates and in Simulation for remote load locations.

Define a location for the origin based on a vertex or point, and use a reference to change the direction of X,Y,Z as needed.
