Review your organizations SOLIDWORKS assets using MyPRODUCTS.SOLIDWORKS.com

After recent updates to the SOLIDWORKS online infrastructure the  SOLIDWORKS MyProducts site is now available for use. (https://myproducts.solidworks.com).

This replaces the SOLIDWORKS admin portal tool where you assigned users to licenses that SOLIDWORKS retired a couple years ago. It’s worth noting that standalone licenses are no longer “assigned” to users. Users just have to be present as a contact under your company’s site in DSxClient, visit New DSx Client System for SOLIDWORKS Administrators and look at the SOLIDWORKS Admin Portal section for more info.

The SOLIDWORKS MyProducts site permits those with Security Admin roles (assigned in DSxClient) to view the SOLIDWORKS assets attached to your organization.  The Security Admin role will need to be assigned through the DSx Client Care and order site. If you need assistance with assigning a Security Admin to your site, please contact TriMech’s or Javelin’s Client Success team (aka technical support).

MyPRODUCTS.SOLIDWORKS.com will make it easy for those responsible for SOLIDWORKS licenses to:

  • View all products which contain a unique serial number.
  • View license support end date.
  • View term license expiration date.
  • View Support End Date.
  • Check if the products have been activated.
  • Data columns have sort and filters available, however if you wish to use multiple filters, it is best to export the CSV file and then use the advanced filtering and sorting available in Excel, or your preferred CSV file application.
  • Click on any product to see included products entitled by the same serial number and upon what system that product was activated on.
  • Export a detailed spreadsheet of your products to see a complete list of all the systems your licenses are activated on, as well as advanced sorting and filtering via Excel.
