SOLIDWORKS 2017 gives you the ability to Hide All Types via the Heads-up Toolbar!

The screen display can get cluttered when you have lots of annotations, sketches and reference geometry visible. We wanted an easy way to hide everything at once! Now the Hide/Show icon in the Heads-up Toolbar acts as a toggle to Hide All Types.

You can still specify individual display options through the drop-down, and those settings are remembered when you toggle the SOLIDWORKS Hide All Types button.
