SOLIDWORKS 2019 Recent Documents dialog box improvements

SOLIDWORKS 2019 introduces some great new capabilities that not only improve the user experience, but also increase your daily productivity with new SOLIDWORKS 2019 Recent Documents functionality:

• The SOLIDWORKS 2019 Welcome page now lists up to 100 of your recently opened documents. Each document is displayed with its own preview, and the new “quick filter” can be used to refine the list by displaying only parts, assemblies or drawings and the desired document can be opened in a matter of seconds.

Maximum number of recent documents

• Until SOLIDWORKS 2018 the maximum number of recent documents option didn’t exist. But now in SOLIDWORKS 2019 you can set the maximum number of recent documents through System Options > Maximum recent documents displayed. The default number is 50.
• You can remove some or all recent items by clicking Remove in the Recent > Documents or Recent > Folders tabs in the Welcome dialog box.
