In SOLIDWORKS 2020, you can now add Hole Callouts to non-hole wizard holes that have a cosmetic thread. In the following example we have created a hole in a plate and applied a cosmetic thread to the hole.

In order to insert a hole callout for this hole in the drawing, we use the Smart Dimension tool to insert a dimension for the diameter of the cosmetic thread. In the side view of the hole, after activating Smart Dimension, click on the two silhouette edges of the cosmetic thread. Then click to insert the dimension.

As soon as the dimension is placed in the drawing, the hole callout appears for the non-hole wizard hole.
