3DVIA Composer Line Widths

In the 3DVIA Composer Technical Illustration module, line widths can be a bit tricky to figure out. This 3DVIA Composer tech tip should make it easier for you.
There are two main types of lines in Technical Illustrations, “Strong/Silhouette lines” and “Weak/Outline lines”. To control the thickness of these two lines we adjust 3 variables: “Global Line Width”, “Outline Width” and “Silhouette Width”. The location of these variables inside the 3DVIA Composer Technical Illustration interface is shown in the figure below.
The following images show different examples of applied line width settings for creating’Weak’ and ‘Strong’ lines in your Technical Illustration images.
