Article by Joe Medeiros, CSWE updated March 25, 2015

A transition action comment can add a predefined comment when a file is transitioned. The notification can be defined in a Transition Action, for automatic transitions or transition actions that set a variable or increment a revision. These comments can be viewed from a files history and when when performing a Get Version.

Standard items such as date, revision and user defined variables are available from the fly-out.

Please note that the Transition Action Comment, is common for all actions in a given transition.
