The SOLIDWORKS 2016 Installation Manager is different from previous releases.
Separately purchased SOLIDWORKS add-ins are now grouped under expandable menus. Once the menu has been expanded, a serial number can be entered for the required add-in.
Product Selection
Under product selection you can choose which products to install including the new SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard which is a replacement for SOLIDWORKS Workgroup PDM.

Download Options
Download Options now give you the choice on whether to download files that are needed to install products on the current computer, or a full download which can be used on any computer. This choice is only available for the Download Only option. These choices may reduce the size of the download.
