A frequently neglected yet vital step in configuring a SOLIDWORKS PDM Task is defining the specific tasks that a computer is authorized to execute within the Task Host Configuration.
How to access the SOLIDWORKS PDM Task Host Configuration
On the computer that will be running the Task, right click on the PDM Icon.

Select Task Host Configuration.

Ensure that the correct File Vault is selected, and that the Add-in is permitted.
