In SOLIDWORKS 2020, you can edit an existing selection set to add or remove items. You can also add items to multiple selection sets at once. The items that need to be added to a specific selection manager can simply be dragged from the Feature Manager design tree or from a selection set to the desired selection set.

Let’s create a new selection set. All the items that need to be added are selected from the tree.

If you want to add an item to an existing selection set, click Selection-Set # (##) where # is the order of creation and ## is the number of items in the set. If there is a check mark next to a selection set, it means that the item selected is a member of that selection set.
