SOLIDWORKS 2021 Graphical Manipulator in Structure System

New in SOLIDWORKS 2021 is the ability to drag and rotate a structure system structural member using graphical manipulators. This can make it easier to make quick offsets or rotations without using the selected Pierce Point. Here’s how:
- Expand the Structure System folder in the feature tree, and edit any of the members. Alternately, you can edit the members’ containing folder in order to affect all members within that folder with the same offset/rotate.
- Select the Profile tab. This makes the graphical manipulator appear.
- Drag the manipulator arrows to translate, or its ring to rotate.
How to enable the structure system graphical manipulator
Dragging the manipulator will result in an update under the Pierce Point and Profile Alignment sections of the property manager. Alternately, we can enter exact values in the manager if needed.
