If a network license is installed on a client computer when that computer is not connected to the License Manager, the user will receive a message that they have a number of days to activate their license every time they start SolidWorks. They may still receive this message even when they are connected to the License Manager. To resolve this issue:
- Click on the windows START button.
- In ‘Search programs or files’ (Windows 7) or Run (Windows XP) type “CMD”
- In the resulting window enter “<SolidWorks Corp Install Folder>\SolidWorks\setup\i386\swactwiz.exe” /primprod:solidworks /dellic (include the quotations)
- When prompted ‘Do you really want to delete SolidWorks product licenses?’, click Yes.
If the default installation location was used, you would enter the following line in the Command Prompt:
“C:\Program Files\SolidWorks Corp\SolidWorks\setup\i386\swactwiz.exe” /primprod:solidworks /dellic
