Sam Hunt Racing (SHR) announces today that TriMech Group, a leading technology and business solutions partner for designers, engineers, and manufacturers, joins Sam Hunt Racing as the organization’s official technology partner – the first partnership of its kind in organizational history.
“I’m extremely excited to announce our partnership with TriMech Group, a powerful and rapidly growing technology provider that will strengthen SHR’s preparation and efficiency moving forward,” said Sam Hunt, owner and president at Sam Hunt Racing. “As metrology continues to become a vital component of on track success, it was easy to align ourselves with a like-minded team that is creatively pushing boundaries in their space- using state of the art tools and software to achieve success. I am proud to bring TriMech into the SHR family and look forward to seeing them grow alongside us.”
Sam Hunt Racing has displayed proven growth and advancement year over year since its inception in the NASCAR Xfinity Series in 2019. Now, as the 2025 season comes to a near close, SHR is adding a metrology department within its four walls with the help of TriMech Group. Metrology, the scientific study of measurement, will assist SHR’s crew chiefs, engineers and mechanics to better understand each individual part of its racecars to build faster, more competitive cars in 2026.
“Partnering with Sam Hunt Racing allows us to bring engineering innovation to the fastpaced world of motorsports. We’re proud to support a team that shares our commitment to precision, performance, and driving excellence,” said Chip Hogge, TriMech’s Group CSO & President of Advanced Manufacturing.
As part of the partnership, TriMech will be providing a Zeiss T-Scan Hawk 2 3D Hand Scanner and full technological support to SHR, drastically improving its competitive performance and efficiency.
TriMech will be featured on all SHR racing vehicles on the lower front quarter panel starting this weekend at Kansas Speedway and into 2026.
