3DEXPERIENCE World 2026 wrapped up just over a week ago, and we’re still coming down from the high! The four days of the conference gave us insight into the future of SOLIDWORKS and 3DEXPERIENCE, sneak previews of new features, and showcased ground-breaking technology.
In case you didn’t get a chance to join us in Houston or haven’t had time to relive the moments through SOLIDWORKS Live, we’ve compiled some of the greatest hits from 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026.
Edge of Innovation with SOLIDWORKS Artificial Intelligence
One of the most groundbreaking announcements of day one of 3DEXPERIENCE World was the introduction of LEO and MARIE, two additional AI assistants to accompany AURA. The two newly introduced virtual companions, along with AURA, each have their own use cases for your organization.
- AURA helps to bring knowledge and context to your projects, enabling you to learn from existing documentation to steer design.
- LEO provides engineering reasoning with knowledge of structures, motion, and manufacturing.
- MARIE brings scientific prowess to assess materials, chemistry, and regulations.
SOLIDWORKS CEO Manish Kumar did a live demo of the virtual companions and showcased how they won’t replace engineers but instead enable innovative designs and technological breakthroughs.
TriMech Technical Expertise Throughout the Conference
TriMech was lucky to have many of our technical experts able to share their knowledge and experience with a hungry crowd of SOLIDWORKS users. From large assembly best practices to practical workflows for design, simulation, and manufacturing, our team was able to provide helpful tips and tricks to enable next-generation innovation.
We were fortunate to partner with other experts from SOLIDWORKS to dive under the hood on assembly mates to supercharge your next project. Our team is already brainstorming for 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027 to bring you the latest and greatest from their depths of knowledge.
Extending Partnerships with Technology Leaders
Day two started with the CEO of Dassault Systèmes, Pascal Daloz, explaining how they are redefining the future of engineering and how leveraging 40 years of industrial expertise will help create impactful solutions. Soon after, NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang described the ongoing partnership between his company and Dassault Systèmes.
Together, they will build one of the world’s most powerful industrial AI platforms. We learned more about LEO and MARIE throughout day two, providing more understanding of each’s application. Stay tuned for more to come throughout 2026 and 2027 for more on those!
Celebrating the SOLIDWORKS Community
The theme of the final day of 3DEXPERIENCE World 2026 was a celebration of the global SOLIDWORKS community and how ever-changing, innovative, and dedicated it is. We also heard from Dr. Amy Thompson, who is the Chief Technology Officer for the Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT).
Dr. Thompson discussed how CCAT enables innovative ideas and business support through training, technical services, and grant support. With her team’s help, businesses in the area can stay competitive on a national and global scale, even when faced with supply chain or technical challenges.
Looking Forward to 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027
While we had a blast in 2026, we are already setting our sights on 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027. We can’t wait for everyone to join us in Nashville, TN, from February 14-17 for next year’s edition of everyone’s favorite conference.
We blew the doors off Tom’s Watch Bar for our client appreciation event this year, so you definitely don’t want to miss out next year when we throw down in Music City. Follow along with us throughout the next year as we drop hints, share tips, and get excited for 3DEXPERIENCE World 2027!
